Broadway-
Also designed by Morris Fuller Benton three years earlier than Bank Gothic, Broadway is a very niche font. It is very art deco old fashion, and is most often used in playbills and things referring to acting, though also it is a popular choice for emulating a 20’s-30’s feel.
Futura-
Designed in 1927 by Paul Renner Futura is widely popular among designers and is used in countless posters, movies, cds and logos, comic books, ads, sports uniforms and more. This is a go to font that rivals helvetica.
Bank Gothic-
A very geometric typeface designed in 1930 by Morris Fuller Benton, who was the chief designer at American Type Founders for thirtyseven years.
It is surprisingly old for it’s very modern look. There are many movies that use Bank Gothic, as well as some clothing stores.
Garamond (variations)-
Garamond and it variations are all based on the typeface originally designed in the 1540’s by Claude Garamond for the king of France. It has remain widely popular and is used as the body text in most books today.
